The Rocking Machine is available in limited editions.
Each Rocking Machine is handmade and may have traces of the handicraft manufacturing process.
The Rocking Machine is protected under national and international copyright and other intellectual property laws.
If you would publish images of your acquisition of the Rocking Machine, please always credit the artist as follows:

If you wish to publish images of the Rocking Machine for purposes other than to share your acquisition of this artwork, for example for the promotion of any product or service, you would need prior consent of The Herman Makkink Estate.

Return Policy
Orders & Payments:

All artworks are offered subject to availability.

Prices are listed in Euros.

buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT or fees that may apply.
Shipping:

All artworks are shipped from the Netherlands worldwide.

Processing and dispatch times vary. Standard processing time is 1-3 months after payment is received.

Delivery times may vary by destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or couriers.
Return & Refund Policy:
1. EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving it.

To exercise this right, please notify us at fiona@therockingmachine.com within the 14-day period.

Returned artwork must be shipped back in its original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Once the artwork is safely returned, we will issue a refund (excluding the original shipping costs) within 14 days.
2. International Orders (outside EU)

For non-EU buyers, returns are accepted within 10 days

Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are non-refundable (once the order payment is completed, the buyer thereby confirms these policies)
3. Damaged or Lost Items

If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the packaging and artwork.

Depending on availability, we will either offer a replacement or issue a refund.

If a shipment is lost in transit, we will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue.
Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes will be handled by the competent court in the Netherlands, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law.
